RecentlyPostedJobs vs Wellfound
Why RecentlyPostedJobs is better than Wellfound at finding newly posted software, data science and AI jobs.
Wellfound is a startup apply inbox. We watch the career portal the company already uses — startup or public.

What Wellfound is
Wellfound (formerly AngelList Talent) is where many startups want candidates to apply. Founders and recruiting teams post there directly. The catalog is startup-weighted and often wants an account plus a profile before you see the full picture.
Why that is a weaker way to find new jobs
If a company also runs Greenhouse, Ashby, or Workday, the Wellfound post may lag or omit the requisition that actually opened on the career site this morning. Large public-tech employers mostly do not use Wellfound as their system of record. You will not see those first-seen roles there.
Why RecentlyPostedJobs is better
- We follow the career portal the employer already uses — including large tech ATS boards startups and public companies share.
- A new Wellfound marketing post does not redefine an older requisition’s age.
- No profile wall on the recent feed.
- Software, data, and AI only, so startup “ops” and “growth” noise stays out of the list.
- Public-tech Workday and Greenhouse reqs appear here the week they open, not only when a founder updates Wellfound.
- Seed-stage companies with a public ATS are on the same first-seen rules as everyone else — no profile wall.
