Sourcing standards
How we choose sources, attribute listings and handle corrections.
Public pages only
We read career sites that are reachable without an applicant login. We honor take-down and robots restrictions when a host blocks automated access; those employers are simply not listed.
Accuracy over volume
A company is added only after a live test returns title + apply URL + stable id. We would rather omit a brand than guess a board. Historical backfills are hidden from the recent feed.
Attribution
Job titles and locations belong to the employer. Apply always happens on the employer’s page.
Corrections
Email [email protected] to report a wrong date, a non-SWE title, or a company that should not be listed. We correct original posted dates backward when we learn a better first-published timestamp; we do not bump dates forward to game recency.
Structured data
JobPosting markup is used only on individual, currently live, non-seed job URLs with a substantive description and known country, with the employer as hiringOrganization and application on the employer site. The homepage does not emit a stack of JobPosting objects.
