A CLEARER JOB SEARCH

Good questions. Straight answers.

Where do these jobs come from?

We collect listings from employers’ official career pages and the hiring platforms they use. Apply takes you to the employer’s job page. We do not collect applications or source listings from other job boards.

What happens when a job turns 7 days old?

It leaves our recent-jobs feed and specialty lists, even if the employer is still hiring. We use the original posting date, so reposting the same job ID does not give it another week. Saved jobs and older detail pages may remain available; keeping the history helps us recognize reposts.

How do you avoid duplicate jobs and reposts?

We track each employer’s requisition ID and preserve its earliest known posting date. Seeing the same ID again does not make it new. An employer may issue a different ID for a similar role, so we cannot promise that every similar listing is a duplicate we can detect.

Does applying early improve my chances?

Finding a role sooner gives you more time to prepare a relevant application before it closes. Timing alone does not guarantee an interview or selection; your fit, application quality and the employer’s process also matter.

How do I find new remote, data science or software jobs?

Choose a posting window, then use location, specialty, work setup and employment filters. Search by title or company for a narrower result. Remote roles can still have country restrictions—check the employer’s requirements.

What is the difference between posted and first seen?

Posted is the original publication date supplied by the employer’s hiring platform. First seen is when we detected the requisition. Listings without a reliable posting date are excluded from the new-jobs feed. Repeated checks do not reset posting dates.

Why might a description or salary be missing?

Some employer feeds omit details. We retrieve descriptions where supported, but the official job page remains the source for current requirements, pay and availability. We do not invent missing salary information.

What do the job counts mean?

The results count reflects your posting window, filters and jobs hidden on this device. The company count describes overall coverage and does not change with your search. Use Show more jobs to browse the remaining matches.

Is it free, and where are saved jobs stored?

Browsing, saving and applying are free, with no account required. Bookmarks and application notes stay in this browser on this device. Clearing browser storage removes them.

Why is this better than LinkedIn or Indeed?

We only read official career pages, keep the employer’s original posting date, and never show the same requisition ID as new twice. LinkedIn, Indeed and the other boards do not. See the RecentlyPostedJobs vs other job sites pages.

How can I report a closed job or incorrect listing?

Use the Contact page and include the listing URL and the detail that needs correcting. The employer’s career page is the final source for whether a role is still accepting applications.
