You Are You have spent years deep in semiconductor verification, the kind of work where a missed corner case can cost months and where automation is not a nice-to-have, it is survival. Somewhere along the way, you realized that the next leap in verification productivity would not come from faster simulators alone but from fundamentally smarter workflows, and that is where AI enters the picture. You are not just curious about LLMs and agents, you have already started experimenting. Maybe you have built a prototype that uses RAG to surface relevant testbench examples, or you have scripted something that helps engineers debug faster by surfacing patterns in coverage data. You know the difference between AI hype and AI that actually helps an engineer close coverage on a Friday afternoon. You move between verification engineers who need solutions that just work and AI researchers who think in embeddings and inference pipelines, and you can translate between both. You do not wait for a perfect spec. You identify a painful workflow, build something that addresses it, and iterate based on what actually gets used. At Synopsys, you will work on AI solutions that touch real verification flows used by semiconductor teams worldwide, and what you build will directly affect how engineers work every day. What You'll Be Doing Design and build AI-powered tools and workflows that make verification engineers more productive, whether that is smarter debug assistants, automated coverage analysis, or intelligent testbench generation Work directly with Product Engineering and R&D teams to identify high-impact verification pain points and translate them into concrete AI-assisted solutions Integrate AI technologies like LLMs, RAG systems, AI agents, and workflow orchestration frameworks into existing verification tools and environments, including SystemVerilog, UVM, simulation, and regression workflows Evaluate emerging AI frameworks and technologies, run experiments, prototype solutions, and determine what actually works in production verification environments Provide technical leadership across the Korea Verification team and broader Synopsys AI initiatives, sharing knowledge and helping define the roadmap for AI-driven verification solutions Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with customer needs and engineering workflows Debug complex integration issues across verification tools, AI models, and automation pipelines, ensuring reliability and performance in real-world use The Impact You Will Have Reduce time-to-coverage and debug cycles for verification engineers by delivering AI-assisted workflows that surface insights faster than manual analysis ever could Accelerate adoption of AI across Synopsys verification products and customer engagements, establishing best practices and reusable frameworks that scale globally Enable verification teams to make better decisions faster by surfacing relevant data, patterns, and recommendations at the right moment in their workflow Contribute directly to Synopsys' leadership in AI-driven EDA solutions, combining deep verification domain expertise with cutting-edge AI technologies in ways competitors are still figuring out Improve engineering quality and efficiency across semiconductor development by making verification smarter, not just faster Shape the future of verification tooling by defining what intelligent automation looks like in practice, not in a whitepaper Help engineers across the industry solve problems they
