Your impact begins on day one, and your contributions will help define our future in the region ​. ​ ​ We’re seeking a Manager - Software Development & Engineering to deliver high ‑ quality, production ‑ grade services while elevating day ‑ to ‑ day engineering practices across the teams. You will design and build features end ‑ to ‑ end, contribute to solution design, perform code reviews, and help teammates with performance, reliability, and test automation. Operating within a SAFe ART, you ’ ll collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, and DevOps to ship incremental value with predictable flow, built ‑ in quality, and audit ‑ ready traceability. ​ What you have Required Qualifications: ​ ​ • 6–8+ years of professional software development with .NET, RESTful services, and microservice patterns. • Strong SQL and schema design with SQL Server and\or Oracle. • Hands ‑ on experience with automated testing (unit/integration/API/contract) and CI/CD; comfortable with branching/versioning and artifact management. • Practical implementation of resiliency, performance budgeting, and observability (metrics/logging/tracing) in distributed services. • Proven success delivering production systems in Agile teams; comfortable owning features end ‑ to ‑ end from design through production support. • Clear communicator who can explain trade ‑ offs to engineers and product partners; proactive in code reviews and design discussions. ​ Preferred Qualifications: ​ ​ ▪ Applies analytical thinking to abstract factors, guides outcomes, and sets priorities ▪ Consistently maintains clear, open communication to enhance collaboration with others ▪ Leverages industry expertise to guide strategy and guide team members in industry and marketplace dynamics ▪ Encourages independent problem-solving and decision-making ▪ Anticipates reactions from individuals and groups in situations and plans accordingly ▪ Seeks new methods or technologies to enhance work outcomes ▪ Influences improvements in efficiency and effectiveness within a function ▪ Adapts oral communication to engage diverse stakeholders and inspire action ▪ Earns trust through ethical decisions and deep subject matter knowledge ▪ Uses storytelling, data, and emotion to persuade diverse audiences ▪ Leads activities, implements goal-setting strategies, and resolves a wide range of issues ▪ Analyzes trends and recommends strategies to sustain the firm's competitive advantage ▪ Applies quality standards effectively, ensuring excellence and inspiring precision ▪ Produces high-quality written materials tailored to different stakeholders ​ What’s in it for you At Schwab India, you’re empowered to shape your future.
