Your impact begins on day one, and your contributions will help define our future in the region ​ What you have Key Responsibilities Charles Schwab Asset Management is responsible for managing the Investment and Asset Management businesses of Schwab. The Schwab Asset Management (SAM) Engineering team is part of the Schwab Technology Services (STS) organization, and this opportunity is on the Alternatives Investments and Insurance & Annuities Team development team helping design and build systems for the Alternatives and Annuities business. The Alternatives (Private Credit and Equity) and Annuities industries are a rapidly growing industry, and we are looking for individuals that have a passion for technology that want to be part of a collaborative team focused on our clients. Unlike other parts of Schwab, SAM works closely with our business, and we have a fiduciary responsibility to provide them with the best tools. You will get the opportunity to work with in-house developed and third-party applications that utilize Dot Net and Cloud based frameworks. > Design, develop, and deliver solutions as part of an Agile Scrum team. > Leverage understanding of software development principles and practices > Support and triage issues and participate in production support to help develop resilient and secure systems to prevent issues that impact on our clients. > Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to define strategy and scope of software requirements (decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks) > Delivering new concepts and features, working alongside development peers in an agile environment > Utilize automated softw are test tools and frameworks such as test-driven development to achieve the highest quality in software deliver Required Qualification ▪ 5-7 years ’ experoence with C# Dot Net ▪ 5-7 years ’ experience with Angular ▪ 5-7 years ’ experience with SQL ▪ 5-7 years ’ experience with Cloud, PCF preferred ▪ Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues using best practices to support live applications ▪ Prioritizes compliance, security, and scalability of data systems ▪ Executes strategies to restore services promptly and address disruptions ▪ Addresses QA challenges by applying best practices in testing and compliance ▪ Validates requirements and constraints to support effective development and operations ▪ Monitors and addresses security policy violations using best practices ▪ Resolves software design challenges using predictive and adaptive methods ▪ Applies best practices to build, test, and validate software components while resolving issues ▪ Consolidates software changes into secure, stable releases using best practices ▪ Ensures systems align with cloud architecture
