Job description

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Refine and translate complex technical performance metrics into clear, top-level business outcomes and auditable efficiency savings, and launch tooling and automated dashboards for efficiency metrics.
Lead comprehensive strategic planning cycles to develop high-impact, forward-looking operational efficiency roadmaps.
Operationalize structured engagement cadences with key cross-functional teams to streamline execution across the unified framework.
Partner with key teams (e.g., Finance, MLSA) etc to ensure the metrics defined and tracked translate into business outcomes for Google.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in program management.
Preferred qualifications:
8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Experience in machine learning platforms and systems with knowledge of design and deployment of these systems and a strong understanding of the software stack for ML platforms.
Excellent program management skills, with the demonstrated ability to successfully drive and land complex cross-functional programs, preferably in the area of hardware/software efficiencies for the data center.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
