Key job responsibilities - Testing Prime Video features that run on Living Room devices (TVs, Set-top boxes) - Manual test execution on devices - Collaborating with device partners (TV manufacturers, Set-top box manufacturers) during the testing process - Designing and developing the test-suite used to validate Prime Video features - Collaborating with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to develop, maintain and fix tests, both manual and automated, based on test results - Collaborating with other team members to ensure the Prime Video certification process maintains its high quality bar - Leveraging AI to improve speed and quality of tests About the team The Device Partnerships organization works directly with third-party device manufacturers (e.g. Samsung, LG, Sony) and distributors to ensure that Prime Video works seamlessly on any living room device across the globe. The certification team ensure that every living room device (TV, set-top box) delivers the high-quality experience that customers expect from Prime Video. This quality will be viewed by many millions of customers. The team also manages and monitors the software running on these devices to ensure that they do not regress after they have been certified.
