Jobs picked recently

“Picked recently last” is the list of technical roles we first stored in the last 24 hours. Picked means indexed. The date on the row is still the employer’s original publish time, which can be the same hour or earlier the same day.

Picked is our clock, posted is theirs

First seen is when the crawler stored the requisition. Original posted is when the employer published it. A role can be posted and picked inside the same day. A role posted last month is not allowed to enter this list by being crawled today; seed and backfill rows are excluded.

This is the closest thing to “just appeared” without lying about the employer date. If the two times diverge by more than the feed’s delay, the job page shows both ideas: the printed time is the employer’s.

Why this is not the same as latest

Latest-on-other-sites often means a human last touched the listing. Recently picked means we had not stored that requisition id before this window. The actually-new page is the employer clock for 48 hours. Use both if you are comparing a board that feels stale.
