This is the PERFECT position for a Principal level Software Engineer with a strong background in embedded Software Engineering, has a passion for DevSecOps, and wants to work on pipeline building, process automation, and data analytics. This person will serve as the focal subject matter expert in all aspects of our common DevSecOps solutions for our embedded Software Engineering users, as well has help lead pipeline technical development. What You Will Do You will lead the design and implementation of new capabilities for our DSO pipelines / automations. You will optimize existing DSO pipeline / automation capabilities. You will set-up and own sandbox environments for technology incubation and development. You will work across teams and departments to enable rapid onboarding of the Cert DevOps technology. You will mentor, train and onboard teammates. You will be expected to be a self-starter, able to multitask and manage unplanned events. You will use your organizational skills to keep track of everything. You will use your effective communication skills to keep engineering peers, leadership and customers up to date. You will use your problem solving, decision making, and teamwork skills to support the team mission. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience Experience with the following programming languages: C, C++, Python Experience with C/C++ build tooling and optimization: GNU Compiler Collection (gcc/g++), Clang/LLVM compiler, Make, CMake, Conan, Bazel Experience with Source Control Management: GitHub or GitLab, Git. Qualifications We Prefer Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Rust, Ada, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS Experience with Ada build tooling and optimization. Experience with Rust build tooling and optimization. Experience with database integration: SQL, MongoDB Experience with dashboarding: Grafana, PowerBI, Tableau Experience with networking protocols and IT infrastructure. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
