.NET Software Engineer

About The Role: .NET Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that support IQVIA's healthcare technology platforms. The role involves working across both front-end and back-end application layers, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to platform enhancements that improve scalability, performance, and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while gaining deeper domain expertise and supporting strategic product development initiatives. Major Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and support. Develop and maintain both front-end user interfaces and backend application components. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues. Review functional specifications and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards. Create and execute unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability. Collaborate with product, implementation, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve software quality. Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and best practices. Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required. Support platform modernization and enhancement initiatives. Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2-3 Years professional software development experience using .NET technologies. Experience working with web-based applications and database-driven systems. Exposure to the full software development lifecycle. Skills Requirements: Hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET/.NET Core . Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. Experience working with SQL databases and writing efficient queries. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and responsive web development. Familiarity with REST APIs and web service integration. Experience using Git or other version control systems . Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues effectively.
