Software Development Engineer, AWS CloudWatch, AWS Observability Analytics

CloudWatch Logs is one of the highest-scale logging services at AWS, trusted by millions of customers to reliably capture, store, and protect their operational and security logs. We operate large, multi-region distributed systems handling an enormous volume of data every day. We're looking for a Software Development Engineer to help us build and scale these systems. You'll work on hard distributed-systems problems and on the customer-facing features that enterprises depend on, with a mix of deep design work and raising the operational bar so the team spends less time firefighting and more time building. Key job responsibilities - Design, build, and operate high-scale distributed services within CloudWatch Logs. - Tackle real scaling and reliability challenges across large fleets and high-throughput data paths. - Improve operational excellence by driving systemic fixes that reduce recurring issues and improve customer experience. - Partner with PMs, tech leads, and other teams to deliver customer-facing capabilities.
