Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Drive the end-to-end technical goal, design, and scalable architecture for custom firmware and system software features across custom silicon platforms. Partner closely with Silicon Architecture, Validation, System Software, and Server Platform teams to define requirements and deliver integrated, production-ready solutions. Guide complex architectural trade-offs to optimize system performance, power efficiency, hardware telemetry, and software agility. Establish engineering standards, testing strategies, and execution plans to deliver milestone commitments throughout bring-up and production deployment cycles. Mentor and grow an engineering team while cultivating a highly collaborative and psychologically safe environment. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in software development. 3 years of experience with embedded operating systems. 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role. 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role. Experience with firmware or software development. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or related technical field. 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization. Experience with ARM, Infrastructure, Google Cloud, and Servers.
