Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr Test Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus Reporting to the Director, Process Engineering the Sr Test Engineer role involves responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment What a typical day looks like: Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing. Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data. Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages (Python). Develops instrument drivers. Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level. Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces. Develops test plans and procedures. Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test development, enhancements, test fixtures. Develops quotations for functional test hardware and software. Analyzes and interprets software or system level diagnostic failure (software and hardware). Develops and/or modifies software or system level plans and tests. Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs. Develops quotes for test development and enhancements. Performs test ability analysis (DFT). The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Bachelor´s Degree in Electronics, mechatronics or related. Solid experience in NPI Strong experience as a Test Engineer Advanced English is mandatory Solid experience in capacity analysis and corrective/preventive maintenance Experience managing test KPIs Personnel management Advanced Excel Python programming skills desirable Schedule availability Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages (i.e. Python, Lab View, Perl etc.).
