Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more about benefits at Google . Design and develop features to support future scale, increase resiliency and isolation. Identify future bottlenecks through monitoring, experimenting and other signals and propose solutions. Collaborate with SRE and other partner teams to drive holistic solutions, often spanning multiple quarters and requiring cross team influence and strong communication skills. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience working with distributed systems. Experience building software in backend or infrastructure. Preferred qualifications: Experience with software engineering in C++. Experience building database software. Experience with solving problems at scale. Knowledge of database core concepts, including consistency and isolation.
