AI Creative Platform Engineer Description - Job Summary: The AI Creative Platform Engineer is responsible for the technical operation, integration, configuration, and evolution of HP's mAIstro content production platform. This role develops deep expertise in the Adobe technologies and APIs used by mAIstro while understanding how those services interact with HP systems, AI generation services, Workfront workflows, product data, and downstream content platforms. The engineer works directly with Adobe engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Professional Services, support teams, and HP technology teams to implement new capabilities, troubleshoot issues, support production operations, and progressively build internal HP expertise around the mAIstro technical stack. The goal is to create an internal technical owner who understands how the platform works end to end, not simply an engineer responsible for isolated development tickets. Core Mandate Become the hands-on technical owner of the mAIstro platform stack inside HP. Learn from Adobe, build and maintain integrations, operate the platform reliably, troubleshoot issues to root cause, and reduce dependency on vendor resources for routine technical changes. Responsibilities: Become a primary HP technical SME for the mAIstro platform and the Adobe technology stack that powers it. Develop deep expertise in Adobe App Builder, Adobe Developer Console, Adobe APIs, Workfront, Workfront Fusion, Express Embed SDK, Firefly Services, Foundry-related integrations, Frame.io, and related Adobe services used by mAIstro. Learn directly from Adobe engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Ultimate Success, Integrated Services, and support teams and convert that knowledge into sustainable HP technical capability. Design, build, configure, and maintain Adobe App Builder applications, services, extensions, and supporting components for mAIstro. Develop and maintain API integrations between Adobe services and HP platforms. Support Fusion-based workflow automation, orchestration, events, and handoffs. Implement authentication, OAuth, service accounts, secrets management, and secure API connectivity in accordance with HP security requirements. Support integrations with HP systems including PRISM, product information sources, DAM platforms, and downstream content services. Understand and support how mAIstro orchestrates AI generation capabilities for copy, image, video, templates, and other content types. Partner with Creative Technologists to make new AI generation capabilities available reliably inside the production platform. Partner with the Product Manager to evaluate technical feasibility and translate product requirements into sustainable platform solutions. Diagnose platform issues across APIs, workflows, authentication, orchestration, Adobe services, and HP integrations. Reproduce issues, analyze logs, isolate root causes, and work directly with Adobe Support when vendor escalation is required. Manage technical support cases through resolution rather than treating ticket creation as the endpoint. Establish monitoring for API failures, workflow failures, generation jobs, latency, integration errors, and other platform health indicators. Develop deployment, release, rollback, and operational procedures for mAIstro. Participate in architecture discussions regarding scalability, reliability, security, observability, performance, and supportability. Evaluate new Adobe capabilities and advise the Product Manager and Content Transformation leadership on their applicability to mAIstro. Education & Experience Recommended: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, integration engineering, or enterprise application development. Experience building and consuming REST APIs and integrating SaaS or enterprise applications. Experience with OAuth, authentication, API security, service accounts, and service-to-service integration. Experience analyzing logs, reproducing defects, isolating root causes, and troubleshooting production issues. Understanding of queues, events, webhooks, retries, error handling, and API-driven orchestration. Ability to learn complex vendor platforms quickly and translate external technical knowledge into internal capability. New Adobe capabilities can be evaluated, prototyped, and integrated more quickly. Routine integration changes no longer depend entirely on Adobe resources. Technical incidents are diagnosed and resolved faster with stronger root-cause analysis. Adobe support cases contain clear technical evidence and move efficiently toward resolution. Platform integrations are documented, observable, secure, and supportable. Product requirements are converted into technically sustainable implementations. mAIstro operates as a stable production platform rather than a collection of disconnected prototypes.
