Job Description Key Responsibilities Test Automation Development Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and mobile applications. Create automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver , Appium , and related automation tools. Automate functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing. Develop reusable test libraries and utilities to improve testing efficiency. Quality Engineering Excellence Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and quality standards. Ensure software quality throughout the SDLC by integrating testing early in the development process. Analyze requirements and technical designs to identify test scenarios and edge cases. Participate in design reviews and provide quality-focused recommendations. CI/CD and DevOps Integration Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to enable continuous testing. Monitor automation execution results and provide actionable insights. Improve release confidence by implementing shift-left testing practices. Defect Management Identify, document, track, and verify software defects. Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Validate fixes and ensure no regression impact across applications. Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and Onshore test lead. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices. Drive quality engineering culture across teams. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation. Strong hands-on experience with enterprise web and mobile application testing. Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments. Experience working with globally distributed teams. Required Technical Skills Automation Testing Strong expertise in: Selenium WebDriver (preferred) Appium (preferred) TestNG or JUnit Automation Framework Design Programming Proficiency in one or more languages: Java JavaScript/TypeScript (preferred) Python C# Web & API Testing REST API testing using: Postman (preferred) Rest Assured Swagger/OpenAPI Understanding of frontend technologies: HTML CSS JavaScript Mobile Testing Native Android/iOS testing Hybrid application testing Mobile device and emulator testing Appium ecosystem and device cloud platforms CI/CD & DevOps Jenkins Azure DevOps GitHub Actions Git Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing Test Management Jira Azure DevOps TestRail or equivalent test management tools Preferred Qualifications Experience with: Cypress Playwright WebdriverIO Robot Framework Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD): Cucumber SpecFlow Experience testing cloud-native applications. Exposure to microservices architecture. Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
