Job description
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
This team is responsible for influencing network design teams to standardize and optimize networking rack assembly elevations and designs for manufacturing and deployment at scale. In this role, you will encode these designs into internal rack configuration systems, as well as Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. You will create and manage changes to multi-level design and manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs), as well as Configure-to-Order (CTO) rulesets for networking devices and rack assemblies. Additionally, you will manage deployment CTO sales orders. All of these processes are critical to supporting the New Product Introduction (NPI) launch of new networking technologies into the field
