- Steer, guide and assist disparate teams seeking integrations; input into evolving LSEG policies and standards.
- Ensure that all processes and documentation are adequate and effective to meet support and audit requirements.
- Work as part of an Agile scrum team, collaborating closely with business customers, Technology Product Owner, Solution Architects and Delivery leads.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior data engineers.
- Drive the adoption of Agentic AI capabilities to automate data engineering workflows, including code generation, data quality validation, metadata management, pipeline monitoring, and operational troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Experience (Must have):
- Strong experience creating and optimizing data pipelines on AWS using SageMaker Unified Studio and Glue.
- Strong experience working with Relational/Dimensional data models, Data Lakes and Medallion Architecture.
- Strong experience in SQL, including structured and semi-structured data (XML and JSON), and developing ETL/ELT pipelines in and out of a data warehouse.
- Strong experience with Python (Pandas and PySpark) for data ingestion and transformation.
- Working experience with Iceberg or other open file formats.
- Demonstrated experience driving adoption of Agentic AI capabilities to automate data engineering workflows.
- Experience with Generative AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Amazon Q, or similar AI coding assistants.
- Familiarity with AI/ML services such as Snowflake Cortex, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, or similar platforms.
Nice to have:
