Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dev/Systems Engineer to join our team at SWIFT VA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable systems, bridging the gap between development and testing to ensure seamless delivery and performance of our critical applications. You will play a key role in optimizing our infrastructure, automating processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using various programming languages and testing tools.
* Execute automated and manual test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
* Collaborate with software developers to understand product features and technical specifications.
* Report, track, and verify software defects using bug tracking systems.
* Participate in code reviews of test automation scripts and provide constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and methodologies.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of test plans and strategies.
* Learn and adapt to new technologies and testing tools as needed.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
*7+years of experience in a Dev/Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, Automation, etc.
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
* Proficiency in Java and JavaScript
* Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $101,303 USD Annual to $188,135 Annual USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employees contingent on personal and company performance. Our generous benefits program includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance with no premium costs for our employees and their families, and retirement plan plus matching 401k
