Acquires, analyzes, and trends gas volume data and provides results to stakeholders as needed. 2. Identifies and quantifies issues that contribute to L&U through analysis and interaction with stakeholders such as Gas Operations, Accounting, Finance (DIG), Rates, Financial Reporting, and other areas. 3. Develops key report generation of town plant L&U, pipeline balance zone, gas management, customer information, and measurement database management systems. 4. Identifies new and modifies existing reports to enhance the understanding and representation of L&U. Generates recommendations to simplify or enhance reports and reporting processes. 5. Reviews reports for errors and consistency with other recorded data as well as operational reality. 6. Works to balance distribution, transportation, and storage systems. Develops understanding and implements processes and quantifies differences. 7. Provides training and technical assistance to other employees for various L&U reports and L&U resolution. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Educational/Experience Level: 1. Bachelor's degree in in Engineering, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or other technical field with one year of measurement experience, data analysis and trending experience or other related experience, or 2. Associate's degree in in Engineering, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or other technical field with three years of measurement experience, data analysis and trending experience, or other related experience, or 3. High School Education and five years of measurement experience, data analysis and trending experience, or other related experience. Communication Skills Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers in order to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information on technical concepts to individuals. Numeric Skills Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages, and statistical and accounting methods. Computer Skills Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications for developing documents, reports and/or graphics. Work Conditions Works in an indoor environment. Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, stooping, bending, kneeling, grasping, reaching, crouching and lifting objects up to 20 pounds.
